James Hardie is a world leader in the manufacture of fibre cement siding and backerboard, with primary geographic markets in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Europe and Canada. We have been working with James Hardie since 2013.

Objective

James Hardie came to us in order to develop a refreshed approach to their visual identity to be implemented into their Annual Reporting suite of collateral. In 2015 James Hardie were in the process of investing in additional manufacturing capacity, as well as research and development, it was important to capture this expansion in the reporting thematic.

Approach

We developed the the thematic “Building for Growth” which was rolled out across the suite of documents. This included a new interpretation of the company’s visual identity and implementing the bold use of colour, a contemporary approach to typography and location photography of their new factory in Carole Park, Brisbane.

Result

The result is a consistent, strong contemporary suite of documents which positions the company as a world leader of in their industry. The documents clearly present both the company’s annual financial and operational position.
