EY, formerly known as Ernst & Young, is a multinational professional services firm, providing assurance, tax, consulting and advisory services. EY is one of the Big Four audit firms, with 212,000 employees in over 700 offices around 150 countries in the world. ArmstrongQ was selected to partner with EY’s Oceania communications team, to provide visual communications solutions.
EY were looking to maximise their internal and external video communications engagement, because of videos unmatched power to engage and communicate.

To fully realise the maximum benefit of video, organisations must understand and manage a wide array of technical and aesthetic issues, accompanied with video production. EY place great importance on the quality of their videos and have to be appropriately aligned to the EY brand. Therefore EY has partnered with ArmstrongQ since 2012 to provide video, animation and photography solutions.
We identified early on in the relationship there would be a large number of videos produced annually with numerous EY stakeholders involved in both the briefing and delivery process. AQ established a suitable workflow process and cinematic style needed to be established to ensure brand alignment and continuity over the long term — taking into consideration challenges including; different locations, different times and different topics.
Through our experience we know an executive’s time is valuable, so we needed to create an environment where they can arrive prepared, deliver their message to camera quickly and efficiently, then get back to their regular activity. Video projects are turned around in a matter of days, enabling speed to market to meet the demands of the fast paced online environment with cinematic quality videos, on time and on budget, aligned to the EY brand.
